In this Journey YOU will ...
Week 1: Get to Know
YOU
Deciding on a career is a big deal! Do you know yourself well enough to choose a direction that will shape your future? Before trying to make "next step" decisions, we will explore your natural-born preferences for cognitive functioning, social navigation, communication, and leadership! You'll gain insight into what motivates you and drains to help you make decisions with a deeper understanding of who you were created to be!
Week 4: Let's Research Together!
We'll start a plan of action for exploring suggested careers that interest you ... collecting information such as:

Week 2: Get to Know Your Interests!
With a basic understanding of your preferences, we'll now explore your interests as they relate to career choices. Using The Strong Career assessment which compares you with professionals in over 130 fields, you will be aligned with those who answered similarly and report being highly satisfied in their career, which can guide you to compatible colleges, majors, trades, internships and ultimately a career you will enjoy!

Week 5: Keep Digging!
We will continue the research as we dig deeper into those careers that are aligning with your values, interests, and goals! We'll explore the future outlook for those fields given the advances of technology and AI, as well! We will also begin looking for colleges, or trade schools / licensures in those areas.
Week 3: Understand the
Results
The Strong Interest Inventory® instrument is a powerful tool that can help you make satisfying decisions about your career and education. Understanding your Strong Profile can help you identify a career focus and begin your career planning and exploration process. This is not a tool that narrows, but a tool that expands your consideration and allows you to research multiple options before making your 'next step' decision! We'll walk through your results together!
Week 6: Action Plan
Together, we will create a "Plan of Action" based on your research!

After years of frustration and a goal to raise my children with better self-awareness, I am now an MBTI® personality preference practitioner with over 10 years of experience helping students and parents understand learning styles, communication patterns, and leadership preferences so they can thrive at home, in school, and beyond. I am also a Strong Interest Inventory® Certified Career Coach who guides high school students, college students, and empty-nest moms in discovering exciting career possibilities that align with their interests, strengths, and values.
